Vivian is 5 months old today! Time is flying by...Mike and I took a look at her old pics the other night, made me tear up a little seeing her go from being a newborn to an infant so fast. I'll be honest and say I dont miss parts of the newborn phase with the sleep deprivation thing, but I really like this 5 month stage.
The end of 4 months brought on her little tubby legs (Kohls family?)..a couple of cute fat rolls on her thighs which I need to capture in a pic. Her head and face seem to be getting rounder as well, earning her the new nicknames "tubster" and "pumpkin head" repsectively.
Last week was Vivian's first time eating rice cereal. We also started mixing in and alternating peas, bananas, and pears. She seems pretty neutral to it all--no obvious likes or dislikes. I think her favorite part is just sitting in her bumbo with the tray and throwing her spoon on the floor, then she looks at me and starts laughing really loud. As you can see in the pics, she is a pretty neat eater overall.
