Oh...it's been way too long since we've posted anything. Didnt plan to wait over a month, but moving happens! After 3 days of driving in the car with 2 cats and a baby (which felt like a bad sitcom at times), we were happy to finally get to our new home.
And since we just found the camera cord for the computer in one of the many boxes still to be unpacked in the house, it's time to do some catching up.
Vivian has quickly adapted to her new home in Denver. Most nights, she sleeps through the night in her new room and crib. She sometimes wakes up once for a quick bottle, but overall she sleeps 8 hours a night. Pretty good for a 4 month old I think.
She is rarely fussy these days, and allows us to take her to dinner where she manages to get the attention of eveyone in the restaurant. She is very alert and likes to stare at the waitstaff as they walk by so they come over and talk to her. She likes to flirt by smiling and laughing..showing off her dimples.
She can also hold her own bottle for the most part, which I find impressive for her age... Well, enough mommy bragging for now.
We all love Denver! So nice to have a home at last. Although there are some major renovations to be done, it's nice to see gradual progress on the house being made.
This week, Mike planted 4 trees and I am working on my first herb/veggie garden. Very different from LA, but I'm glad we finally "bought the farm" as they say.
Speaking of gardens, here are some pics we took of Vivi Rose lounging in the backyard over the past couple of weeks.
