Just getting caught up here with Vivian's 10 days of life so far...The first week was easy for a newborn. Mike and I got some sleep, only waking up twice a night for feedings and a diaper change. AND THEN...the real newborn came out to play. She was up all last night, but luckily we figured out why the change. She is HUNGRY. We can't get enough bottles into her quick enough. Apparently, this is her 10 day cluster feed. The breast milk supply and demand has been tough, so we introduced a little formula late last night. We plan to use it just 1-2 times per day and stick with breastmilk the rest of the day. It looks like she will eat, or in this case drink any sort of milk, so that's a good sign. Here are well.. too many pics from the past week, with her lounging poses and 1st bath.
