I debated about doing this blog, but Vivian is a modern baby, and mommy is too lazy to write on paper so this should work out just fine for both of us.
Vivian arrived 8 days after her due date, but in perfect health. We had a bit of a scare at the hospital when her heartbeat dropped while they were trying to induce me into labor and I was rushed into the OR, so we all agreed at that moment that it was time for her to introduce herself to the world . She had enjoyed the womb long enough! The extra week inside my belly allowed her to grow an additional pound or so, weighing in at 8lb & 5oz. Given her weight and the scare, I suppose I was thankful for the c-section at the end of the day.
